CiCi Baker CiCi began her career in the industry with a Los Angeles DMC. In 1967, she joined CMI/Carlson Marketing Group as an Account Manager and within five years became Vice President of Operations. She has managed events of 30 to 10,000 people for such high tech luminaries as Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, Microsoft, Amdahl, HP, Intel, 3Com, and Oracle. In 1998, Pepsi Cola hired her to handle logistics of their $25 million dollar 100th anniversary celebration on Hawaii's Big Island. There she personally "kidgloved" the handling of Pepsi's entertainment and guest speakers: Ray Charles, Riverdance, Rolling Stones, George and Barbara Bush, and Margaret Thatcher - much like she treats her clients today. Prior to starting The Sierra Event Company, CiCi used her expertise to consult with companies who were opening up or expanding their event management departments. She moved to Tahoe in 1996 and began laying a foundation for her own DMC. Her goal is to bring a level of sophistication and superb service to inbound meetings and incentives in the Reno/Tahoe area.
